The Internet is beneficial to senior citizens, too! Let's fill in the age gap in the Digital Divide!

According to GenerationLink(http://www.earthlink.net/about/generationlink/stats/) :

*Nearly 3 in 5 online senior citizens (56 percent) say that the Internet has improved their connections with family.
*87 percent of those over 65 do not have Internet access. In comparison, 65 percent of those under age 30 have Internet access.
*Although 15 percent of all Americans are over 65, only 4% of all Internet users are over 65.
*79 percent of people over 65 say they'll never go online.

These statistics show the prevalent digital divide that includes an obvious lacking presence of senior citizens on the internet.
To change these statistics, we must encourage senior citizens to use the internet, by showing them how it can benefit them.

This website is especially designed for senior citizens who think the internet is a tool that they can not benefit from. Or, for senior citizens who are interested, but need assistance on learning more about how the internet works, and what the internet has to offer them.
